On the morning of May 11, the Ha Long Bay Management Department, in coordination with the Quang Ninh Provincial Youth Union, organized an environmental cleanup program on Ha Long Bay.

At 9:00 PM on May 5, during a routine patrol in the Hon Gai - Cua Dua channel area, located within the core zone of the Ha Long Bay, the Violation Inspection and Enforcement Team (under the Ha Long Bay Management Department) discovered two vessels engaged in illegal fishing activities.
Ha Long Bay is not only famous for its majestic, poetic landscapes but also carries within it a rich and ancient cultural history. This heritage is vividly reflected in many of the bay's limestone caves. Among them, Me Cung Cave stands out as a significant site tied to the Soi Nhu and Ha Long prehistoric cultures.
Over the five-day holiday period for April 30th and May 1st, Ha Long Bay welcomed nearly 97,000 visitors, including over 33,000 international tourists and more than 63,000 domestic tourists. Total revenue exceeded 23 billion VND.
Cỏ Cave is located on Hon Cỏ Island, and is named after it by locals. It is a relatively untouched and pristine cave, part of Route 4 on the Ha Long Bay sightseeing itinerary. The cave lies approximately 19 km from Tuan Chau International Marina and about 14 km from Ha Long International Cruise Port.
The Violation Inspection Team on Ha Long Bay, in coordination with the Vung Vieng Task Force - Conservation Center III (under the Ha Long Bay Management Department), recently detected an unregistered boat operating without a license, carrying 13 passengers, including 2 foreign tourists, on an unauthorized sightseeing trip through Ha Long Bay.
During the first two days of the April 30th - May 1st holiday, Ha Long Bay welcomed 38,671 visitors, including over 12,000 international tourists and more than 26,000 domestic tourists. Total revenue reached nearly 11 billion VND.
On the first day of the April 30 - May 1st holiday, Ha Long Bay welcomed 17,353 visitors, including 11,117 domestic tourists and 6,236 international tourists - of which increased 38% comparing to the same period in 2024.
