Opening Ceremony of the 2025 Medical First Aid and Maritime Casualty Transport Training Course
On the morning of May 26, at Quang Ninh Medical College, Ha Long Bay Management Department held the opening ceremony of the 2025 training course on medical first aid and the transportation of casualties on the sea.

Attending the opening ceremony were Mr. Pham Dinh Huynh - Deputy Director of Ha Long Bay Management Board; Mr. Tran An Duong - Vice Rector of Quang Ninh Medical College; lecturers participating in the training course, and 30 trainees who are employees of Ha Long Bay Management Department.

Vice Rector Tran An Duong expressed his gratitude to the Ha Long Bay Management Department for trusting Quang Ninh Medical College to organize training courses for its employees. He expressed confidence that, through participating in the course, the trainees would be well-equipped to act independently, confidently, and effectively in emergency situations.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Pham Dinh Huynh, Deputy Director of the Ha Long Bay Management Department, emphasized that search and rescue operations are among the key concerns of the Management Department. Given the unique characteristics of the maritime and island environment, training in medical first aid and the transportation of casualties on the sea is critically important. The knowledge gained by the trainees not only benefits themselves but also enables them to assist and support tourists in case of emergencies. This contributes to promoting Ha Long Bay as a safe and friendly destination.
It is also noted that the training course includes the participation of 23 staff members from various tourism service businesses operating in Ha Long Bay.
The course will run from May 26 to May 30, 2025.
