Training and awareness on key topics that related to the protection of Ha Long Bay

 

From June 2 to June 9, the Ha Long Bay Management Department organized training and awareness sessions to disseminate important information related to the management, conservation, and promotion of the values of Ha Long Bay for the Department’s employees.

A total of 350 employees of the Department participated in these sessions.

The training and awareness sessions focused on several key topics, including: Legal documents related to the management and protection of special-use forests preserving the landscape of Ha Long Bay; The Cultural Heritage Law No. 45/2024/QH15; Certain provisions related to the Environmental Protection Law, and the Law on Marine and Island Environmental Resources; Regulations, procedures, standards, and professional skills related to the restoration and maintenance of facilities at tourist sites in Ha Long Bay; Legal documents governing the management and use of public assets; Laws related to emulation, commendation, and the implementation of democratic regulations in the activities of the Ha Long Bay Management Department; The Law on grassroots democracy and the democratic regulations applied within the Ha Long Bay Management Department; Key concepts and procedures concerning inspection and supervision of socio-economic activities in Ha Long Bay; Documents related to the development of science, technology, innovation, and the national digital transformation program.

The training and awareness course aimed to update participants on new information regarding several laws, sub-law documents, and essential skills and professional practices related to the management, conservation, and promotion of Ha Long Bay’s heritage values. The goal was to enhance the effectiveness of advising and carrying out the tasks of sustainable management, conservation, and development of the heritage site.
