Ha Long Bay is often compared to a giant, vivid ink painting, featuring thousands of limestone islands rising from clear blue waters, along with a rich and mysterious system of caves. On April 21, while performing their duties, the Violation inspection and handling team on Ha Long Bay (Ha Long Bay Management Department) discovered a wooden boat illegally engaged in fishing activities.
On April 9th and 11th, 2025, during checking on the Bay, the Ha Long Bay Violation Handling and Inspection Team, in coordination with the Waterway Police Team and the Traffic Police Department of Quang Ninh Provincial Police (referred to collectively as the inter-agency task force), detected and handled three vessels illegally transporting tourists for squid fishing on Ha Long Bay.
Starting from May 1st, 2025, Ha Long Bay Management Department will begin collecting entrance fees for scenic sightseeing on three routes: VHL6, VHL7, and VHL8 in Ha Long Bay.
Mr. Cao Tuong Huy, Vice Chairman of the Quang Ninh Provincial People's Committee, affirmed that tourists who have visited Ha Long will want to return after watching the "Victory - Bond in Vietnam" music video.
On April 8th, Ha Long Bay Management Department held a conference to analyze and evaluate the 2024 Public Administration Reform (PAR) Index, as well as to set its directions and tasks for improving the index in 2025.
