Ha Long Bay welcomes nearly 97,000 tourists during April 30th - May 1st holiday

 

Over the five-day holiday period for April 30th  and May 1st, Ha Long Bay welcomed nearly 97,000 visitors, including over 33,000 international tourists and more than 63,000 domestic tourists. Total revenue exceeded 23 billion VND.

During the April 30th - May 1st holiday period, the Ha Long Bay Management Department, in coordination with relevant agencies, ensured sufficient staffing to maintain safety, security, fire prevention, and to provide rescue and emergency response, all aimed at delivering the best possible service quality for tourists. The Department strictly enforced public listing and selling of tickets at posted prices, ensuring service quality, and preventing overcharging, price gouging, or aggressive solicitation of tourists. Regular inspections and monitoring were conducted, and any violations of tourism business regulations by organizations or individuals were handled seriously.

Additionally, efforts were intensified to increase waste collection and treatment capacity, with necessary equipment and manpower deployed to protect Ha Long Bay environment, both before and during the holiday.
