On the morning of March 14th, at Hon Co Island, Ha Long Bay, Ha Long Bay Management Department organized a ceremony to launch the planting of 265 rare and endemic trees.
Currently, there are 502 registered tourist boats operating on Ha Long Bay, with 437 of them having signed contracts for anchoring in 2024 with Ha Long Bay Management Department (including 106 overnight boats, 325 sightseeing boats, 4 restaurants, and 2 cruises)
At 11:00 PM on March 10th, in the area in front of Sun beach - the core zone of Ha Long Bay, during an inspection, the Ha Long Bay Violation Handling and Inspection Team discovered two vessels engaged in illegal fishing by clamming.
There is a Ha Long that feels both distant and close, both real and surreal. Though one may pass through Ha Long every day, each encounter still brings a sense of awe and wonder-especially in those final days of spring, when Ha Long floats dreamily in a veil of mist and smoke.
In order to contribute to the development of Ha Long City, the City of Flowers, the Green City on the edge of the Heritage, and with the collaboration of many units, departments, and localities, Ha Long Bay Management Department has carried out various tree planting activities on Ha Long Bay.
On February 26th, the People's Council of Quang Ninh Province issued Resolution No. 51/2025/NQ-HĐND, amending and supplementing certain provisions related to fees and charges within the jurisdiction of the Provincial People's Council. One of the important contents of this resolution is the adjustment and supplementation of the fee collection routes for sightseeing tickets on Ha Long Bay.
Recently, Ha Long Bay Management Department coordinated with the Quang Ninh Media Center to create a video clip titled "Ha Long Bay - The essence of Heritage, Shining Globally."
On February 17th, Ha Long Bay Management Department issued Plan No. 27/KH-BQLVHL on the administrative reform (PAR) propaganda for the Department in 2025.
At 10:20 AM, in the area of Trong Mai islet on Ha Long Bay, during a patrol and inspection on Ha Long Bay, the Interdisciplinary Task Force (comprising Ha Long Bay Management Department, the Waterway Police Team, Traffic Police Department, and Ha Long City Police in Quang Ninh Province) discovered a fishing vessel with a 40HP engine, operated by Mr. Pham Vang Hung, residing in Ha Long City.
Ha Long Bay is often compared to a massive, vibrant watercolor painting, with countless large and small limestone islands rising from the clear blue water, alongside an array of rich and mysterious caves.
On the morning of February 5, at the Ben Doan Wharf, Ha Long Bay Management Department organized the launch of the Spring Tree Planting Festival of 2025 (Year of the Snake). Hundreds of employees of the Department participated in the event.
