On the morning of June 26, the Working Group of the Party Committee of the Quang Ninh Provincial People’s Committee held a meeting with the Party Committee of the Ha Long Bay Management Department to discuss preparations for the upcoming Congress for the 2025–2030 term.

To implement environmental activities under the program “Volunteering for a Green Ha Long,” on June 10, 2025, Bhaya Cruises Co., Ltd. organized an environmental cleanup and waste collection campaign in the areas of Coc Cheo - Ang Du - Ba Men - Ho Ba Ham in Ha Long Bay.

From June 17 to June 20, Ha Long Bay Management Department organized a training course on map management and usage at Ha Long Bay for 45 employees.

Nestled among majestic mountains and vast waters, Ha Long Bay is not only renowned for its breathtaking beauty but also holds a sacred story passed down through generations - the legend of the Mother Dragon and her offspring. This tale breathed life into the name "Ha Long," which means "Descending Dragon."

The Inland Waterway Port Authority and the Inland Waterway Vehicle Registry have just issued official dispatch No. 618/CVĐTNĐ-ATQLKCHT dated June 13, 2025, regarding prevention and response measures to the impact of Storm No. 1 - WUTIP.

On June 7, at the Ang Du area in Ha Long Bay, the Youth Unions of two units-Ha Long Bay Management Department and the Department of Agriculture and Environment-organized a waste collection and fish fingerling release event in Ha Long Bay.

In response to the national call for environmental action, and in line with similar efforts across the country, the Ha Long Bay Management Department has launched a series of practical initiatives.

In accordance with the 2025 plan for patrol, supervision, inspection of socio-economic activities, and violation handling in Ha Long Bay, on June 3, during a coordinated patrol, the forces of the Ha Long Bay Management Department detected one fishing vessel operating illegally in the core zone of the Heritage Site.

From June 2 to June 9, the Ha Long Bay Management Department organized training and awareness sessions to disseminate important information related to the management, conservation, and promotion of the values of Ha Long Bay for the Department’s employees.

On the morning of May 26, at Quang Ninh Medical College, Ha Long Bay Management Department held the opening ceremony of the 2025 training course on medical first aid and the transportation of casualties on the sea.
