With a unique natural heritage like Ha Long Bay, tourism development must also be distinctive to attract visitors from all over the world. In recent years, the tourism industry of Quang Ninh Province, as well as Ha Long Bay Management Department and other stakeholders, have made significant efforts to introduce many innovations to make the beauty of the Ha Long even more dazzling.

On November 22nd, in Ha Long City, Ha Long Bay Management Department and the People's Committee of Cat Hai District held a conference to summarize the coordination efforts in the management, protection, and promotion of the values of Ha Long Bay and the Bays of the Cat Ba Archipelago in 2024.

On November 22nd, Ha Long Bay Management Department organized a testing and evaluating  the quality of the tour guide team in 2024."

On November 15th, at Song Minh football field (Cao Xanh ward), Trade Union of Ha Long Bay Management Department opened the 15th Ha Long Bay Management Department Football Tournament. The tournament had 05 teams from the departmental trade unions and teams of tourism service enterprises in Ha Long Bay.

On the morning of November 13th, the delegation of the Argentine Justice Party, led by Mr. Emilio Jose Ribera, Deputy Head of the Party Central Committee’s Department of External Relations, visited Ha Long Bay during their official visit and working trip to Vietnam. Mrs. Nguyễn Thị Kim Nhàn, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party’s Department of Propaganda and Education, along with representatives of several local departments and agencies, warmly welcomed and accompanied the delegation.

Ha Long Bay is one of the famous scenic spots in Vietnam with special appeal to national and international tourists. With its potential and strengths favored by nature, Ha Long Bay has received many proud titles.

For nearly 30 years since it was first recognized as a World Natural Heritage, Quang Ninh has always identified Ha Long Bay as a treasure bestowed by nature, an important driving force for tourism development and transformation of the growth model in the economic structure. Therefore, the process of exploiting and promoting the value of heritage, conservation and preservation work has always been of interest to Quang Ninh province.

It has been 30 years since Ha Long Bay was recognized as a World Natural Heritage by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).

Within the framework of the International Strategy for Natural Disaster Reduction of the United Nations General Assembly, on November 10th, 2024, the United Nations Resident Coordinator in Vietnam coordinated with the UNESCO Office in Hanoi to organize an Inter-sectoral Assessment Team, including ICOMOS risk assessment and management experts, representatives of the Department of Cultural Heritage, and UNESCO Office in Hanoi, to carry out a program to assess and verify the level of impact and damage that caused by Typhoon Yagi to world heritage sites and nominated heritage sites in Quang Ninh province, including Ha Long Bay. Mr. Pham Dinh Huynh, Deputy Director of Ha Long Bay Management Department, represented the Department's Leadership to welcome and work with the Delegation.

On October 30th, the delegation of the Communist Magazine led by Mr. Pham Viet Dung - Department Head, Head of the Magazine's Economic Department worked with the Ha Long Bay Management Department on the management, protection and exploitation of the value of Ha Long Bay.
