On November 22nd, Ha Long Bay Management Department organized a testing and evaluating the quality of the tour guide team in 2024."
The testing content includes knowledge about Ha Long Bay, Ha Long tourism, legal documents related to the conservation of Ha Long Bay and necessary skills for interpreting during serving tourists to Ha Long Bay.
The jury evaluated the results through two rounds: a written test and a presentation, based on criteria such as accuracy, completeness, creativity, appeal, and expressiveness of the written content; as well as flexibility, calmness, confidence, and creativity in the presentation to provide the final evaluation.
A new feature in the evaluation of the tour guide team’s quality this year is the organization of the exam in groups, focusing on the preparation of a specialized topic and presenting it according to the group leader’s assignment. As a result of the inspection, 100% of the tour guides achieved the grades of good and excellent."
The testing of the professional knowledge and skills of the tour guide team is organized annually by Ha Long Bay Management Department. This is not only one of the criteria used to assess and rank tour guides for the year 2024 in terms of performance and rewards, but also aims to enhance their professional skill in order to meet the requirements of improving the quality of servinf visitors on Ha Long Bay. This will contribute to improving the quality of tourism at Ha Long Bay, ensuring that Ha Long remains a beloved and chosen destination for visitors./.
