Ha Long Bay as a picture-perfect setting in the Bond music video
Mr. Cao Tuong Huy, Vice Chairman of the Quang Ninh Provincial People's Committee, affirmed that tourists who have visited Ha Long will want to return after watching the "Victory - Bond in Vietnam" music video.
On the morning of April 9th, the Nhan Dan newspaper collaborated to launch the music video Victory - Bond in Vietnam, featuring a performance by the music group Bond at some of the most famous landmarks in Quang Ninh Province.
The music video unfolds a spectacular visual journey, showcasing breathtaking scenes of Ha Long Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, through the performance of Bond.
This event is not only a musical milestone but also an inspiring step forward in promoting Vietnam's tourism image to the world.

Victory - Bond in Vietnam was filmed right after Bond's successful concert at the National Conference Center in October 2024. After captivating over 3,000 Vietnamese audience members with their familiar melodies blending classical and modern styles, the four female artists embarked on a journey to Quang Ninh to film the music video at some of the most iconic landmarks of Ha Long Bay.
Through the lens of the production team, images of the sunrise over the Bay, the tranquil fishing villages, pristine sandy beaches, majestic limestone islands like the iconic Trống Mái Islet, Oan Beach, and especially Dragon's Eye island-often referred to as the "mystical eye in the heart of the heritage"-appear shimmering and poetic, set to the familiar sounds of Victory.
The music video does not rely on complicated special effects but instead focuses on highlighting the natural beauty of Ha Long Bay through emotional shots and world-class music.

At the launch of the music video, Mr. Le Quoc Minh, Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department, and Chairman of the Vietnam Journalists' Association, who oversaw the production of the MV, shared that inviting internationally renowned artists to Vietnam not only brings world-class artistic experiences but also serves as an effective way to promote the country's culture and tourism to international friends.
"We hope that each music video will serve as an 'artistic business card' showcasing our nation's image to the world. Ha Long is already famous, but we still need to continue introducing it in more creative ways, such as through music and imagery associated with global artists," Mr. Minh shared.

Meanwhile, Mr. Nguyen Thuy Duong, the music video producer, shared that during the process of filming the MV in Ha Long, the production team faced many challenges, ranging from weather and terrain to strict technical and safety requirements for the international film crew.
To capture the stunning footage in just over 3 minutes, the entire team went through numerous challenges. "We surveyed the filming locations 10 times because we only had one day to film with the artists. In particular, filming at sea and on remote islands such as Dragon's Eye island or Oan beach presented many difficulties."
"The tides changed constantly, and the boats had to maintain a safe distance. There were even moments when we had to carry the artists into the scene to catch the sunset in time. Despite the difficulties, everyone was excited and full of energy," Mr. Nguyen Thuy Duong recalled.
One noteworthy aspect of the MV is the depiction of the daily activities of the local people, from fishermen heading out to sea in the morning, groups of young people gathering to check in at Bai Chay Bridge during sunset, to street music performances at night. This is how the MV brings Ha Long closer to the audience, highlighting simple yet deeply local experiences.
Not only showcasing the beauty of the landscape, the presence of Bond- the globally famous music group with over 5 million albums sold-has helped elevate the image of Vietnam. The members of Bond expressed their delight in experiencing Vietnamese culture and cuisine, and they expressed a desire to return in the future.

Mr. Cao Tuong Huy - Vice Chairman of Quang Ninh Provincial People's Committee - states that tourists who have visited Ha Long will want to return after watching the MV "Victory - Bond in Vietnam"
"With the music video by Bond, the most successful string quartet of all time, Ha Long is honored with majestic, emotional music, making viewers, even those who have already been there, want to return once again," said Mr. Cao Tuong Huy.
He also mentioned that Quang Ninh province has submitted a proposal to UNESCO to recognize Ha Long Bay as a World Natural Heritage Site for the third time.
Additionally, with the Victory - Bond in Vietnam music video and systematic promotional campaigns, Quang Ninh aims to welcome 20 million tourists in 2025.
"We expect this music video to not only be an artistic product but also a boost for tourism in Quang Ninh specifically and Vietnam in general. This year, we aim to welcome 20 million tourists, including over 5 million international visitors. We believe that after the music video is widely released, more people around the world will know about Ha Long, not just through books and articles, but through vivid, emotional imagery. This is a golden opportunity for Ha Long to move closer to its goal of becoming an international tourism hub," Mr. Huy added.
At the launch event, the music video was also presented to the leadership of Quang Ninh Province, travel agencies, hotels, airlines, and television channels with the goal of strongly promoting the image of Ha Long Bay and Vietnamese tourism internationally.
Victory - Bond in Vietnam is a continuation of the Good Morning Vietnam program series initiated by Nhan Dan newspaper. Previously, the Going Home - Kenny G in Vietnam MV, filmed in Hanoi in 2023, also attracted attention.
Bond is a string quartet from the UK with members Tania Davis (violin), Eos Counsell (violin), Elspeth Hanson (viola), and Gay-Yee Westerhoff (cello). The group became internationally famous for combining classical music with pop and various styles using electronic instruments.
