Ha Long Bay Attractions Refurbished and Ready to Welcome the New Year 2026
In the final days of the year, as the Lunar New Year draws near, decoration, maintenance and environmental sanitation works at tourist attractions across Ha Long Bay are being carried out with urgency. These efforts aim to give the World Heritage Site a refreshed appearance, ensuring it is fully prepared to welcome domestic and international visitors for spring travel in a vibrant, safe environment rich in traditional Vietnamese identity.

At renowned attractions across the bay, including Thien Cung Cave, Dau Go Cave, Sung Sot Cave and Ti Top Island, ornamental greenery and seasonal flowers have been arranged along piers, corridors, pathways and waiting areas, creating vibrant splashes of color. In the days leading up to Tet, peach blossoms, kumquat trees and various spring flowers continue to be added, further highlighting the traditional Vietnamese New Year atmosphere amid the majestic natural landscape of Ha Long Bay. The vivid hues of the flowers blend harmoniously with the green limestone mountains and the blue waters, creating a setting that is both warm and poetic. Traditional Tet-themed decorative displays also provide distinctive “check-in” spots, where many visitors choose to capture meaningful moments at the start of the new year.

Alongside landscape beautification efforts, measures to ensure safety, environmental sanitation and inspections of tourism infrastructure have been carried out in a coordinated and comprehensive manner. These initiatives not only contribute to maintaining a “green – clean – beautiful” environment for the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ha Long Bay, but also demonstrate the attentiveness and professionalism of the Management Board of Ha Long Bay – Yen Tu World Heritage Site in organizing and welcoming visitors.
Through these concerted efforts, Ha Long Bay continues to affirm its image as a safe, friendly and attractive destination for the early New Year tourism season.

Ha Long Bay is ready to welcome visitors to experience a safe and fulfilling spring, and to capture unforgettable, emotion-filled moments amid the vibrant beauty of the season./.
