Strengthen inspection of tourist service conditions on Ha Long Bay during peak season
In order to improve the quality of tourism services and ensure absolute safety for tourists during the summer tourist season, on June 10, 2026, comrade Mai Vu Tuan, Head of the Ha Long Bay - Yen Tu World Heritage Management Board, directly inspected the reception and service of visitors in some key tourist areas in Ha Long Bay.
The working group focused on inspecting Ti Top beach and Soi Sim beach area. Among them, Ti Top beach is a destination that attracts a large number of tourists every day, especially during the peak summer tourist season. For Soi Sim beach, the team inspected the current state of infrastructure, landscape conditions, environment and technical factors to serve the future exploitation orientation. The research to put Soi Sim beach into operation is expected to create more attractive tourism products, while contributing to reducing the load on Ti Top beach and improving the quality of tourist experience when visiting the World Natural Heritage Ha Long Bay.

Through the actual inspection, comrade Mai Vu Tuan acknowledged the initiative of affiliated units and departments in maintaining and upgrading facilities, strengthening guiding and rescue forces and ensuring environmental hygiene. At the same time, units are required to continue to review and supplement customer service conditions, especially during peak days when the number of visitors increases sharply; Regularly check life-saving equipment, weather warning systems and plans to respond to emergency situations at sea.

Comrade Mai Vu Tuan emphasized that improving the quality of tourism services does not only stop at ensuring safety for tourists, but also must proactively prepare conditions to expand the experience space on the bay and develop high-quality tourism products. In particular, research into the exploitation of Soi Sim beach needs to be carried out on the principle of harmony between tourism development and preserving the outstanding global value of the World Heritage site of Ha Long Bay, ensuring criteria on environment, landscape and tourism capacity.

Regular field inspections at key tourist destinations demonstrate the spirit of proactive, responsible management and towards sustainable development of the Ha Long Bay - Yen Tu World Heritage Management Board. Not only focusing on ensuring immediate safety and service quality, the Management Board also gradually implements long-term solutions to reasonably distribute the flow of visitors and reduce the load on key attractions. This is an important foundation for Ha Long Bay to continue to affirm its position as a leading destination in Vietnam and the world, attracting tourists because of the harmony between heritage conservation and sustainable tourism development.
