Trade Union of Ha Long Bay Management Department organizes the 2024 Sea Swimming and First Aid Competition

On September 28th, at Ben Doan working port, Trade Union of Ha Long Bay Management Department organized the 13th Sea Swimming and First Aid Competition in 2024.
The competition was attended by leaders of the Department, athletes from 08 departmental trade unions and a large number of employees  come to cheer.

Mr. Le Minh Tan, Chairman of the Trade Union, Deputy Director of Ha Long Bay Management DEpartment delivered the opening speech of the Competition.

With 02 parts in the competition including Swimming Competition and First Aid Competition at Sea, the results were: the Trade Union of Conservation Center 3 won first prize; the Trade Union of Conservation Center II won second prize; the Trade Union of the Inspection Team for Handling Violations on Ha Long Bay - Ha Long Bay Rescue Center won third prize and the Ha Long Bay Tourism Guidance and Operation Center won an encouragement prize.
After the Competition, the Organizing Committee also checked and evaluated the employees who had not been tested or were new to the agency in the swimming content.
The Swimming and First Aid Competition at Sea, organizing swimming tests is an annual plan organized by the Trade Union of Ha Long Bay Management Department to check and evaluate the swimming ability of employees to meet the requirements when performing professional tasks in the marine environment; at the same time to improve rescue skills not only to ensure the safety for employees of the Department but also to serve visitors better and better. Through this activity, we also improve the quality of union activities, promote the movement of physical exercise and sports among employees, create a vibrant atmosphere, compete in labor production and complete assigned tasks well.
