Training of Fire prevention in 2024

On October 28th, Ha Long Bay Management Department organized a program to train fire prevention and fighting skills in 2024 for the Department's employees. The program was attended by 87 employees from divisions under the Department.

At the program, the employees were informed by Senior Lieutenant Nguyen Truong Giang who worked for Fire Prevention and Fighting Police Department, Quang Ninh Provincial Police on the following contents: some basic contents of legal documents on including basic knowledge of Fire prevention and Fighting as well as measures and procedures when a fire occurs; dangerous nature of fire, explosion and fire prevention measures during the use of electricity, gasoline, oil, liquefied petroleum gas; operation, maintenance, inspection of fire extinguishers and common fire fighting equipment; instructions on methods of building and practicing fire fighting plans...

Right after the theoretical training, the trainees practiced a number of operations such as deploying a water nozzle to extinguish a fire in a simulated situation; using powder extinguishers, CO2 gas extinguishers to extinguish a fuel tray fire; handling gas leaks that cause fires...

Participating in the training, the Department's employees not only raised their awareness of the law but also knew how to skillfully operate fire fighting equipment; did a good job of checking, preserving, and maintaining the equipped fire fighting equipment and performing well the functions and tasks in fire fighting work, proactively preventing and overcoming shortcomings in fire fighting, contributing to minimizing the causes, potential risks, and conditions leading to fires and explosions; ensuring safety for individuals, colleagues, and tourists.

Through the program, trainees were imparted with practical knowledge and experience to be able to effectively apply in fire prevention and fighting work at the office, at home, especially at tourist sites on Ha Long Bay, contributing to making Ha Long Bay a green, clean, beautiful, friendly and safe destination./.
