Fire Prevention and Fighting Professional Training Course 2025
On October 9th, the Ha Long Bay Management Department organized a fire prevention and fighting professional training course in 2025 for 72 workers who have been certified in fire prevention, firefighting, and rescue training since 2021. Major Le Minh Tuan, an officer of the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Team for rivers and seas, conducted propaganda, guidance, and supervision of the program.
During the training course, participants were taught key contents of legal documents on fire prevention and fighting (FPF); basic knowledge of fire prevention; fundamental fire prevention measures; procedures for the safe use of electricity, gasoline, oil, and liquefied petroleum gas; guidance on developing and practicing firefighting plans; firefighting methods and techniques; and the structure, features, usage, maintenance, and inspection of various types of fire extinguishers (powder, gas) and other common firefighting equipment.
In addition to theoretical learning, participants also practiced deploying fire hoses in simulated fire scenarios, using powder and CO2 extinguishers to put out oil tray fires, and handling gas leak incidents that cause fires.
