Temporary suspension of port departures for vessels to Sea

In response to the urgent developments of Typhoon Matmo (Typhoon No. 11), and in order to ensure the safety of vessels operating in Quang Ninh waters-as well as the safety of people, vehicles, and property-the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Quang Ninh Province has issued a notice to relevant units and the Quang Ninh Inland Waterway Port Authority regarding the temporary suspension of permits for vessels departing from ports and docks.

Accordingly the issuance of permits for seagoing watercraft to leave ports and docks is temporarily suspended. However, vessels may be considered for permission to travel to safe shelter areas or anchor points, provided this is completed by 12:00 PM on October 5, 2025. All permits for tourism activities and overnight stays on the Bay are also temporarily suspended.
The suspension takes effect from 08:00 AM on October 5, 2025, and will remain in place until the final official bulletin on Typhoon No. 11 is released.
