Temporary suspension of vessel departure permits from Ports and Wharves for Watercraft

To ensure the safety of people, vessels, and property, and to prepare for and respond to Storm Bualoi – the 10th storm, the Inland Waterway Port Authority and Watercraft Registration Office (under Quang Ninh Department of Construction) have issued a document to the representatives of subordinate Inland Waterway Port Authorities, announcing the suspension of issuing permits for vessels to leave ports and wharves.

Accordingly, from 6:00 PM on September 27, 2025, the issuance of permits for vessels to leave ports and docks, as well as marine tourism and overnight activities at sea, will be temporarily suspended. Shipowners and captains are required to closely monitor weather developments to ensure the safety of people and vessels; proactively arrange to move vessels to safe anchorage or shelter, completing this before 9:00 PM on the same day.
The suspension of permit issuance will end upon the release of the final weather bulletin about the storm./.
