Ha Long Bay Management Department visits National Achievements Exhibition on the Occasion of the 80th National Day Anniversary (September 2)
On September 7, a delegation from the Ha Long Bay Management Department, led by Mr. Nguyễn Trung Hậu, Deputy Director of the Department, attended various programs and activities at the National Achievements Exhibition themed “80 Years Journey of Independence – Freedom – Happiness” commemorating the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. The exhibition took place from August 28 to September 15 at the Vietnam National Exhibition Center (Dong Anh – Hanoi).
Besides visiting various exhibition booths, the delegation also toured the Quang Ninh province’s exhibition booth displayed at the Vietnam Exhibition Center. Under the theme “Quang Ninh – A Brilliant 80-Year Journey with the Nation,” the province’s booth covers an area of 270 square meters and is located at Hall 7-007 in the “Rich Province, Strong Country” exhibition area inside the Kim Quy Exhibition Hall – National Exhibition Center (Dong Anh, Hanoi).
This exhibition space highlights Quang Ninh’s outstanding achievements in economy, society, defense, security, and foreign affairs through hundreds of photos, large panels, videos, and artifacts. On both sides of the stage are images of two World Heritage sites: Ha Long Bay and the Yen Tu historical-cultural relic area, alongside models of prominent projects such as the Quang Ninh Museum; the Planning, Fair and Exhibition Center; Van Don International Airport, contributing to affirming and honoring Quang Ninh’s notable values over the past 80 years, especially during the period of renovation and integration.
The exhibition is not only a place to admire artifacts and documents but also a space showcasing the country’s remarkable achievements over the past 80 years. Through this, each citizen can better understand historic moments, deeply appreciate the value of independence and freedom, as well as grasp the aspirations, determination, and wisdom of Vietnam.
During this visit, the delegation also took time to visit the Vietnam Military History Museum.
This is a particularly important political and cultural event, not only an opportunity to look back on the glorious historical journey of the nation but also to affirm Vietnam’s stature and position today and its aspiration for sustainable development in the future.
