The 3rd Conference of outstanding representatives of Ha Long Bay Management Department

On August 28th, the Ha Long Bay Management Department held the 3rd Conference of outstanding representatives for the 2025-2030 term. The conference was attended by over 100 delegates, including exemplary employees who have achieved remarkable accomplishments during the five-year period from 2020 to 2025, as well as emulation fighters and role models recognized for good deeds.

During the 2020–2025 period, the Party Committee and leadership of the Ha Long Bay Management Department paid close attention to directing and guiding units to effectively implement emulation movements and commendation work; focusing on propagating Ho Chi Minh’s ideology on emulation and commendation. The awareness of party committees and units about the position and role of emulation and commendation work, as well as the implementation of patriotic emulation movements in carrying out the tasks of managing, preserving, and promoting the values of the Ha Long Bay, was significantly enhanced.

The agency promptly and fully issued plans and documents to implement patriotic emulation movements initiated by the province and annual emulation and commendation work within the emulation bloc of provincial departments. The emulation and commendation regulations of the Management Department were reviewed and supplemented accordingly.

Units linked emulation campaigns with their functions, tasks, work programs, annual themes, and yearly objectives and targets. The emulation content was practical, specific, and appropriate to the particular characteristics of each unit. This created motivation for units to effectively fulfill their assigned political tasks, focusing on the management, preservation, and promotion of Ha Long Bay.

Through these emulation campaigns, enthusiasm, encouragement, and incentives were fostered among employees to actively work and study, completing assigned tasks excellently and contributing to the Department's development.

For the 2025–2030 period, the Ha Long Bay Management Department is determined to implement measures to enhance the effectiveness of emulation and commendation work; to promote the position and role of emulation and commendation in the new context so that this work truly becomes a driving force and a tool contributing to the excellent completion of management, preservation, and promotion tasks of the Ha Long Bay. This aligns with the objectives and targets set out in the Resolution of the Party Congress of the Ha Long Bay Management Department for the 2025–2030 term, the Labor Emulation Conference Resolution, and the annual work program of the Department.

The Department will continue to effectively implement plans for emulation movements initiated by the Province and the Department, thereby identifying exemplary advanced models. Each unit strives to identify and develop at least 5 to 10 exemplary models annually for promotion and widespread learning.

The Department aims for its collective to be awarded the Certificate of Merit by the Provincial People's Committee. Annually, over 90% of the Department’s affiliated units are expected to achieve the title of “Advanced Labor Collective,” with at least two units recognized as “Excellent Labor Collectives.” The agency aspires to receive the title of “Cultural Organization.” Over 85% of employees are expected to be honored as “Advanced Workers,” among whom at least 15% will be recognized as “Grassroots Emulation Fighters.” Furthermore, the agency expects individuals to be awarded the title of “Provincial Emulation Fighter” and to receive Certificates of Merit.

The conference honored and rewarded 5 collectives: the Office; the Operations and Research Department; the Ha Long Bay Rescue Center; the Inspection and Violation Handling Team on Ha Long Bay; and Conservation Center II, along with 57 individuals who achieved outstanding accomplishments during the 2020–2025 period.

Also at the conference, on behalf of the leaderboard, Mr. Vu Kien Cuong - Secretary of the Party Committee, Director of Ha Long Bay Management Department - officially launched the patriotic emulation movement for the 2025–2030 period.
