Over 17,000 tourists visited Ha Long Bay on the first Day of the April 30th - May 1st holiday
On the first day of the April 30 - May 1st holiday, Ha Long Bay welcomed 17,353 visitors, including 11,117 domestic tourists and 6,236 international tourists - of which increased 38% comparing to the same period in 2024.

This is just the first day of the five-day holiday for the April 30th - May 1st break this year. Number of visitor to Ha Long Bay are expected to continue rising, with an even larger influx anticipated tomorrow, May 1st.

In addition to exploring Ha Long Bay itself, visitors during this holiday period can also enjoy a variety of exciting events such as the Tran Quoc Nghien Temple Festival, the 2nd Ha Long Lion-Dragon Dance Festival 2025, and the Ha Long Beer & Squid Cake Festival, all of which are drawing in large crowds.
To ensure a safe and smooth holiday experience for tourists visiting Ha Long Bay, the Ha Long Bay Management Department has deployed personnel throughout the entire holiday, strengthened patrols and inspections, enhanced rescue and emergency response measures, and increased environmental sanitation efforts.
