Youth Union of Ha Long Bay Management Department organized level sand at Ti Top beach
On April 3rd, 4th, 8th, and 9th, the Youth Union of Ha Long Bay Management Department organized a sand leveling activity at Ti Top beach.
Each year, due to tidal currents, the beach becomes submerged and sand is pushed deep toward the base of the island. Therefore, in preparation for a vibrant and safe summer season, Ha Long Bay Management Department carried out sand leveling to create a suitable beach surface to meet the needs of tourists visiting Ti Top island.
With youthful enthusiasm and dedication, the union members worked to move the accumulated sand from the base of the island back out to the beach, while also flattening the surface for visitors who enjoy beach sports.
Every year, Ti Top island welcomes millions of visitors who come to enjoy sightseeing, climb to the top of the island to have the panoramic view of the Bay, swimming, etc. The participation of the Youth Union in leveling the sand at Ti Top beach not only demonstrates the proactive and volunteer spirit of the youth but also contributes to ensuring the safety of tourists engaging in beach and recreational activities on the island. Furthermore, it supports the Management Department’s mission of preserving and promoting the values of Ha Long Bay - a UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site.
