Ha Long Youth Union: Numerous activities of heritage environmental protection in Youth month

In celebration of the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931 - March 26, 2025), during the month of March, the Youth Union of Ha Long Bay Management Department, in collaboration with several other units, organized many activities of heritage environmental protection.

On March 16, at the Soi Sim - Me Cung - Ti Top area (on Ha Long Bay), over 10 youth members from Ha Long Bay Management Department coordinated with more than 10 youth members from the 3rd Pilot branch of the Northern Maritime Pilot Company to collect waste on the Bay. Approximately 15 cubic meters of waste of various types were gathered in the morning.

Continuing the series of environmental protection activities, on March 22, with the participation of Cluster 2 of Ha Long City Youth Union, over 40 youth members from both units collaborated to collect waste at the Cap Tao island area (Center for Preservation I), on Ha Long Bay. More than 30 cubic meters of floating waste in the sea and waste at the foot of islands were swiftly gathered.

The waste primarily consisted of bamboo, rattan, and aquaculture materials, which were collected, gathered, and then transported to the shore by the Quang Ninh Park Green Tree Joint Stock Company for proper disposal.

Participating in the protection of the heritage environment not only promotes the voluntary and proactive roles of youth in contributing to the protection and preservation of Ha Long Bay but also strengthens the relationship and exchange of knowledge between the youth members of Ha Long Bay Management Department and external units.
