Detection and handling of illegal fishing vessels in the core area of Ha Long Bay

At 11:00 PM on March 10th, in the area in front of Sun beach - the core zone of Ha Long Bay, during an inspection, the Ha Long Bay Violation Handling and Inspection Team discovered two vessels engaged in illegal fishing by clamming.

Upon inspection, the captains (who are also the owners of the vessels) Mr. L.V.T of vessel QN 3635 TS and Mr. Đ.V.H of vessel QN 3509 TS admitted to the violation.

The task force brought the two vessels, along with the evidence, to Ben Doan Port (Hong Gai Ward, Ha Long City) for handling in accordance with regulations.
