Ha Long in the misty season
There is a Ha Long that feels both distant and close, both real and surreal. Though one may pass through Ha Long every day, each encounter still brings a sense of awe and wonder-especially in those final days of spring, when Ha Long floats dreamily in a veil of mist and smoke.

The mist drifting over mountains and gardens, clouds blending with water-together they paint a poetic portrait of Ha Long.

In the late spring weather, Ha Long emerges like a vast, mysterious ink wash painting.

In that dreamy, mist-laden painting, the Incense Burner islet (Đỉnh Hương) appears both familiar and strange-like a scene from a mythical realm.

It seems that this is when Ha Long is at its most mysteriously beautiful, leaving visitors feeling as if they’ve wandered into a fairy-tale realm or are standing before a soul-stirring ink wash painting, immersed in a space filled with poetry.

There is a Ha Long like that, once loved, will always linger in the heart. At some moment, it will gently return to memory: a mist-veiled Ha Long, floating and wistful, where mountains embrace the haze, and longing drifts with the clouds.
