Over 59,000 visitors to Ha Long Bay during the Tet Holiday of the Year of the Snake
The 9-day Tet holiday of the Year of the Snake, lasting from January 25 to February 2, 2025, has ended. During this period, Ha Long Bay welcomed 59,342 visitors, an 11% increase compared to the same period of the Lunar New Year in 2024 (Year of the Dragon). Of these, 52,484 were international tourists, and 6,858 were Vietnamese visitors. International tourists mainly came from countries such as China, South Korea, Taiwan, India, the United States.

On the first day of the Lunar New Year, the Silver Dawn cruise ship— the first ship to start the Year of the Snake— arrived at Ha Long International Cruise Port, carrying about 600 international tourists. With the warm welcome from Quang Ninh Province, the leadership of Ha Long Bay Management Department, the Quang Ninh Department of Tourism, and others, the reception created a joyful, excited atmosphere, leaving a great impression on the guests.

With its stunning natural beauty, Ha Long Bay is known as a "picture" of nature, with its landscape changing with each season and scene. In the spring weather, Ha Long appears like a serene painting, both poetic and mysterious. Many tourists, especially international visitors, have chosen Ha Long as their destination to visit during the spring season.

During the Tet holiday of the Year of the Snake, the number of visitors to Ha Long Bay, as well as other attractions in Ha Long and Quang Ninh, increased significantly. This is a positive sign for Ha Long Bay in particular, and the tourism industry in Quang Ninh in general../.
