The Youth Union of the Ha Long Bay Management Department participates in the program “Welcoming Spring with Love, Bringing Tet to Schools” in 2025
“Welcoming Spring with Love, Bringing Tet to Schools” is a program organized by the Quang Ninh Provincial Police, with the participation and support of several businesses, youth unions from various agencies, and schools, including the Youth Union of the Ha Long Bay Management Department. The event took place on January 16 at Ban Sen Island Commune.
The goal of the program is to promote the spirit of mutual support and solidarity among the youth of the People's Public Security, as well as youth union members from agencies, businesses, and schools. Many activities were organized for the students of Ban Sen Primary and Secondary School (Ban Sen Island Commune, Van Don District, Quang Ninh), such as making chung cakes, cultural exchanges, sports activities, and folk games.
During the program, 72 gift sets (blankets, cooking oil, sugar, milk, etc.) were given to students, teachers, and staff who have achievements or are facing difficult circumstances. On this occasion, the program also donated essential items to the school, including a water purifier and a washing machine.
Despite the remote geographical location and travel conditions over sea and islands, the program had great significance in encouraging and bringing warmth to the students during this spring season. Although the gifts were not large, they carried great affection and contributed to motivating the students to keep attending school.
Through this activity, the program aimed to share the difficulties and encourage students from the border and island areas of Quang Ninh to strive in their studies. At the same time, the program also sought to raise community awareness about supporting children in difficult circumstances, especially those in island, border, mountainous, and remote areas.
