The Party Committee of Ha Long Bay Management Department holds a conference to review the 2024 work and implement tasks for 2025
On December 30, the Party Committee of Ha Long Bay Management Department organized a conference to thoroughly discuss the resolutions from higher-level Party committees, review the work of 2024, and outline the tasks for 2025. The conference was attended by 160 Party members from 10 affiliated Party cells.
In 2024, the Party Committee of the Ha Long Bay Management Department led and directed the effective implementation of the resolutions from the Provincial and City Party Committees regarding the tasks and solutions for the year 2024, in line with the province's work theme. The organization of personnel and recruitment was carried out in accordance with the proper procedures and regulations. The monitoring and inspection work followed the established plans, and the activities of the Party Committee and Party cells were maintained.
The management, conservation, and promotion of Ha Long Bay's heritage achieved significant results in area management, monitoring heritage preservation, protecting the environment, and addressing environmental incidents. The quality of visitor services was ensured, and the infrastructure conditions were improved post-Typhoon No. 3 (YAGY). The application of digital transformation in electronic ticketing, interpretation, and heritage promotion was implemented. The number of visitors to Ha Long Bay, particularly international tourists, increased significantly, and the revenue from entrance fees for 2024 exceeded the targets set by the Province and City.
The Party Committee also actively contributed to and organized activities to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Ha Long Bay being recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site. The collective leadership of the Party Committee was strengthened, with unity and consensus within the organization. Staff, Party members, civil servants, and workers complied with internal regulations, and disciplinary actions were promptly taken against violations. The set targets for the year were successfully completed, such as the Party Committee fulfilling its duties, a high percentage of Party members performing well, new Party members being admitted, and 100% of staff and Party members committing to self-improvement for 2024.
Particularly, the revenue target set by the Province for Ha Long Bay entrance fees was exceeded (estimated at 970 billion VND, a 22.6% increase compared to 2023).
The conference also outlined the directions and tasks for 2025, including: Strengthening political and ideological education, organizing study sessions, communication, and the implementation of resolutions, directives, and documents from higher-level authorities, as well as the Party Congress resolutions for the 2025-2030 term; Focusing on Party building; Successfully organizing the congresses of Party cells for the 2025-2027 term and the Party Congress of the Ha Long Bay Management Department for the 2025-2030 term; Enhancing the Party's inspection, monitoring, and disciplinary work; Concentrating on building a strong team of leaders, managers, Party members, and workers, especially leadership and management personnel.
At the conference, Mr. Vu Kien Cuong, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Ha Long Bay Management Department, disseminated and thoroughly discussed the Resolution of the 10th Plenary Session of the 13th Central Party Committee and the resolutions of the Provincial and City Party Committees regarding the directions and tasks for 2025 to all participants./.
