On the afternoon of December 28th, in Ha Long City, Ha Long Bay Management Department held a working session with the faculty members of the Marketing Department and the graduate students of the Marketing major, class 32, from the National Economics University. The delegation was led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Thi Huyen, Deputy Head of the Marketing Department. Mr. Le Minh Tan, Deputy Director of Ha Long Bay Management Department, along with representatives from various relevant specialized departments, also participated in the meeting.

During the session, Mr. Le Minh Tan, Deputy Director of Ha Long Bay Management Department, introduced the functions, tasks, and organizational structure of Ha Long Bay Management Department, as well as the work on promoting and advertising Ha Long Bay.

Based on the topics introduced during the working session, as well as the information the graduate students had researched beforehand (such as the website halongbay.com.vn and the Ha Long Bay Management Department’s fanpage), many questions were raised by the student groups and their professors. These questions focused on several key areas, including: The coordination efforts between the Management Department and various relevant departments in the promotion and advertising work; Issues related to management and communication efforts; The goals and expectations of the Management Department regarding the operation of the website halongbay.com.vn; Strategies for promoting Ha Long Bay on other social media platforms, such as TikTok; The promotion of various tours on Ha Long Bay; The "No Plastic Waste" program for Ha Long Bay.
All of the questions were answered thoroughly by the Ha Long Bay Management Department, addressing the interests and queries of each student group.

At the end of the session, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Thi Huyen, Deputy Head of the Marketing Department, expressed gratitude to the Ha Long Bay Management Department for showing the delegation the Department's current activities, as well as its collaboration with relevant functional units in the promotion and advertising efforts for Ha Long Bay. She also emphasized to the students of the National Economics University that promoting Ha Long Bay is not only about attracting tourists but also about focusing on conservation. The marketing should not be overly aggressive but should aim to balance supply and demand. This is especially important for Ha Long Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage site, where conservation is more essential than ever./.
