Ha Long Bay Management Department launches the Spring Tree Planting Festival of 2025 (Year of the Snake)
On the morning of February 5, at the Ben Doan Wharf, Ha Long Bay Management Department organized the launch of the Spring Tree Planting Festival of 2025 (Year of the Snake). Hundreds of employees of the Department participated in the event.

In response to Uncle Ho's teachings, every year during the Spring, the Board of leaders and employees of Ha Long Bay Management Department actively and enthusiastically plant many green trees on the Bay. This year, nearly 100 trees of various species, including Ha Long Palm, Hoa Lat, and Ban trees, were planted at several points on the Bay such as Thien Cung, Dau Go, and Sung Sot.
In recent years, hundreds of trees have been planted and are growing well, serving as evidence of the efforts and determination of those working to protect the Heritage in the mission of safeguarding the environment and ecosystems of Ha Long Bay.
At the launch ceremony, in the joyful and vibrant atmosphere of the early Spring days by the Heritage site, Mr. Vu Kien Cuong, Director of Ha Long Bay Management Department, called on and urged the employees of the Department to be strong messengers in spreading the message of planting trees to protect the environment, preserve ecosystems, and safeguard the Heritage, especially after the significant damage caused by Typhoon No. 3 (YAGI) to the vegetation on Ha Long Bay. He also emphasized, “Every tree we plant today is a practical action with significant meaning, contributing significantly to the mission of protecting, conserving, and sustainably developing Ha Long Bay.”
