Youth Union of Ha Long Bay Management Department joins the Quang Ninh Youth Program towards Ha Long Bay Heritage

On December 8, the Youth Union of Ha Long Bay Management Department, in coordination with Cluster 2 (Ha Long City Youth Union), organized a waste collection event at several points in the Cống Đỏ area, located in Center III of Ha Long Bay. Over 30 youth union members participated in the program.

Despite the cold weather and seasonal winds, the youth members, driven by their enthusiasm, actively and enthusiastically collected the waste. By the end of the morning, the water surfaces at the collection points in the Cống Đỏ area, where the collection activities took place, were almost completely free of floating waste, and there was no longer any waste accumulated along the islands' shores. Over 7 cubic meters of waste, mostly bamboo, rafts, and foam floats, were collected and transported to the shore for proper disposal in accordance with regulations.

This was a meaningful action in response to the Quang Ninh Youth Program towards Ha Long Bay Heritage, in celebration of the 30th anniversary of Ha Long Bay's recognition by UNESCO as a World Natural Heritage Site.
