Vung Vieng Area

     Vong Vieng area is located on route no. 4 in Ha Long bay, about 20km from Tuan Chau International Marina and 16 km from Ha Long International Passenger Port. In the past, this area was one of the places where the traditional community of fishermen lived in Ha Long bay. Since2014, Quang Ninh provincial people’s committee has removed fishermen to the mainland to assure social security conditions.
     This area is assessed to remain its wild beauty. Coming here, you can see the image of “the village gate”, which is a beautiful giant arch carved by nature to welcome tourists. Especially, you will be able to study, explore and experience traditional customs and habits of Ha Long fishermen through activities,such as: catching fish with fishermen on traditional boats, rowing bamboo boats, Kayaking, racing dragon boats in the bay, enjoying fresh seafood, watching pearl processing…
