Ba Men Temple

 Ba Men temple is a destination of route no.3 in Ha Long bay. The temple is located on a wide sandy beach along the foot of Cật Bà island, belonging to the area that is bordered between Ha Long bay and Lan Ha bay, Cát Bà (Hai Phong), The temple is also known as Chua Ba temple. According to Ha Long fishermen, the temple is very sacred, before going to the sea, they usually go to the temple to burn incense sticks and pray for a safe and successful trip. In 2015, the temple was inscribed in the list of Quang Ninh historical - cultural relics and scenic spots. Every year, the festival of Ba Men templeis held in lunar January 19 and 20. It is the occasion for fishermen of Ha Long, Cát Bà to gather and pray for a year of safety and prosperity.
