Ho Dong Tien Cave

Ho Dong Tien cave is in route no.2 in Ha Long bay. The cave is located in the East of Bo Hon island with the area of about 650m². Deep inside the cave is a small lake surrounded by mountains. The legend has it that this is a picturesque and deserted place with the harmony of mountain and water; thus, in beautiful afternoons, pretty fairies usually take a bath and enjoy the fresh air here. This is why the cave is called “Ho Dong Tien cave” (the cave has a lake, a grotto and fairies) by local people.
